NetJet's isn't the only fractional company. Don't forget Flight Options, FlexJet, AvantAir, CitationAir, and XO Jet to name a few.
 
You're aboit 8000 hoursand 4 type ratings short for Xjet (or so I've heard). Look for local mom n pop 135s where you'll work your rear off and never ssee home, but get JEEEETTTT time and eventually a type or two. Also, I think you'll be surprised by how few 'hate' you. Illegal Immigration chaps my hindquarters, but immigrants who do it the right way are the lifeblood of the USA. Welcome!
 
I was offered a FO job at XO in 2006....I had 1800 and a couple of months at a regional. Fortunately for me, my path was right....imagine kicking myself for staying at OO instead of going to XO.

Heh wait. Are we talking about the same XOJet? Citation Xs, Canadair 300s and a big fat paycheck? I'd rather fly air attack because it's way cooler...but not by much! ;)

yes, they didn't have the Challengers yet. I met all of the key people, and they asked me if I wanted to come over, I nearly took them up on it, but I decided I was in a great spot to upgrade and gain a bunch of hours in the Brasilia. It worked out for me but I pulled a lottery ticket thanks to MJG!

I checked the website of XOJET, I have their minimum requ., what are my chances,( I can not apply now, still need my green card interview to do), and for avantair is that for copilot??? will go jet for sure.

  • 2500 Total Time
  • 1000 Multi-engine
  • 250 Instruments
  • 100 recent multi engine turbine or type rating
  • 250 Hours within the past 12 months
  • Airline Transport Pilot
  • First Class Medical
  • Current Passport
  • FCC Restricted Radio/Telephone Permit
 
Yes, those mins are for Avantair co-pilot. Last I heard they were hiring guys around 5000, but if you know someone it might be less. Probably not 4500 less, though.

NetJets (Executive Jet Aviation) has held a 135 Certificate since 1965. We also held a 121 cert until we sold the last BBJ. We currently operate 91, 91K and 135. Ground training/Sim straining is done Part 121.

My wife is an immigrant to the US and I'm currently in the immigrant process for Australia. You are lucky, even though my wife married a citizen it has cost buko bucks and was still a royal pain.
 
I know it s a pain...all these immigration things all around the world is a pain in the butt, and we pay for it.
We pay people to stamp people passports, we pay people to controll people, we pay people to kick people out ,...we pay people to do nothing! Instead we should exchange our work forces, and build a future.A futur for our children , for our next generations...
we are far of it. America is going away from its principles, instead they should show the example!(what about the US constitution? do the US governement respect it
?, where is gone the America I knew 15 years ago?)

they all make me laugh when they talk about exchange freedom (with china) , protect the world from CO2, and then they go beat chase some poor mexican guys with infrared camera, drones, and high tech equipment (+ build walls)... because they want only a little job in a fast food to feed their family in Mexico.

come on , get real, kicking the ass of illegals has never work, more and more will come.


back to green card lottery:
I played for 12 years every year, I never really believe in this Green card game(had to look at my computer 3 times, and reenter my number twice, I even asked people to pinch my arm and squeeze my lemon , I thought I was dreaming, I couldn't believe my eyes).

30 millions apply for 100'000 selected, 1/300 chance.And more people play everyyear because the world is poorer and poorer and riches richer.why? because for the reasons I mentioned here above.

you can play 30 years, and never get it.

life is a game for the US government. I know guys who studied in the US for 10 years, spent all their money in USA, and can not get even a legal job at macdonald.

it' s easier to get job outside the USA but not in aviation.
I am not complaining because I win one, but belive me,I feel the pain of people who would like to be the lucky one like me!
