Hello, this is Orlando mayor Buddy Dyer
I know that this may not be the most appropriate forum for this, but I'm one of the many ATC applicants here and I couldn't think of a better place to share the news that I recently soloed for the first time. Working in a job where most people aren't even aware that there's an airport three miles away, my friends were decidedly underwhelmed... but what better place to celebrate than JC? Riiiight?

Anyway, that's it, just wanted to share. Back to our regular scheduled programming.

Very true.

This sounds all soft camera lensy, Barry Manilow musicish and Lifetime networky, but it's really an event I look back to whenever I go fly.
 
Congrats! You're one of us now and your life will never be the same. If the DEA knew how addictive flying was, it'd be illegal. :panic:
