I noticed something about Ari Ben flight school..........

Taking into account one who already has earned their PPL, if one was to do the Professional Pilot Course + the 300hr Time building course one would have:

PPL : 40-60 hours TT
Pro Pilot Course : 222 TT / 200 ME
300 Hour TB Course : 300 ME

Total : 522TT / 500 ME + what you have as a PPL already.

Now taking into the price on the website:

PPC ($29,995) + 300hr Time Building Course ($20,749)

= $50,744

*NOTE* I am interested in being a CFI and this was for comparison only. When you compare the cost of this pseudo-package I created to the standard programs of some of the other schools, the other schools end up looking somewhat expensive price wise (comparitively speaking). Taking into account the amount of hours you'd have total at the end, the price is actually cheaper then some of the BIG academies out there that end up providing close to 2x LESS the hours.

Is this right or is my math all screwy?

*NOTE #2* Feel free to correct where I am wrong!!!!!!!!

Did I say something I shouldn't have?

Just wanted to express how much of a deal Ari Ben really is. Even when you add-on the multi-time package the school comes out cheaper then some of the others.

Hey,
I think that you are right. That's why I want to go there. Aviator seems like the best "bang for the buck".

Nope! You're right! As a current student, I have absolutely no regrets. You're gonna get a lot of XC, you're gonna get a lot of "actual" instrument, a lot of night, you're gonna choose where YOU want to go, and it's all Multi-time at a great price!!

Judging by the rate new students are coming through the door, a lot more people are realizing this.

It seemed like such a good deal I thought I added something wrong!

Seriously, if you added up all the flight time for my pseudo-package + your PPL from elsewhere (or there, doesn't matter), you'd end up with;

45 (let's just say that for the PPL) + 222hrs/200ME (Pro-Course TT) + 300hrs ME "Time-Building" program =

567 TT / 500 ME.

Holy crap! LOL

That's a lot of damn hours for $50,000 (when compared to soem of the others out there). Add in 33 hrs and you are at some regional's minimums. LOL!

Even without the "Time-Building" 300 hrs I added in above, Ari Ben seems like an excellent school with regards to cost vs return. Add in the fact that you at least get a garunteed chance at becoming a CFI and the school seems pretty golden. Not to mention, taking in account that if you are a CFI there most of the training is in ME aircraft, just about ALL of your hours you are adding on as an instructor are going to be ME. The opportunities to learn and have a good time there are seemingly endless.

Decent price.
Lots of ME.
Good reports from past students.
Garunteed -->chance<-- of becoming an intructor.

The only thing bad may be the style of training isn't what works for you, and you could find that out anywhere.

Hell, with Ari Ben, where could you go wrong?

Seems like a pretty damn good school from all I have heard on here. If people can get training such as this with this many ME hours at such a low cost (relatively speaking), it makes you wonder why people would ever go to one of the bigger schools. Maybe the style of training is what causes certain people to choose a major academy over one of the smaller Ari Ben or Skymates types of schools.

Wait....so you're telling my I shouldn't pay $50,000 for an interview?
