I need a sleuth

So I've come across some old prints from Kodak disposables stuck in my childhood bedroom closet and...

...and I could have maybe phrased the start of this thread a little better :eek2:

I have a picture of a United DC-10 at KDEN from 1996. I remember why we were there that day so that'll be the year. At any rate, you'll notice the cheatline painting from the nose back to the front seal of the R1 door is more freshly painted than the rest of the cheatline back. I'm thinking this surely is a patch job that you'd only see on one specific airplane, which should give me an idea of what N number the plane wore. Unfortunately airliners.net, jetphotos.net, planepictures.net, airplanepictures.net, planespotting.com, and netairspace.com have nothing for me. I found the airplane on flickr I believe but it's unlabelled and from the same view so the N number isn't visible.

Anybody want to take a crack at finding the N#?
