I need a new watch...

TallBoy has a knack for sarcasm. You get used to it after a while.

Fossil here too. Love my watch, titanium with a blue face on it. They don't sell the same model anymore, maybe I'll take a picture with skibum's camera sometime...

Never, bro! I love that watch! I've been through three or four bands (finally wised up and just bought the "special people's" velcro band

), one battery change in 9 years (ain't bad)... and it can go under water.

I'll never dump it..... dunno if I'd wear it into an interview though.

Skagen's are nice watches. I've got a titanium one someplace (I collect watches, or used to when I had the money

).

This Bulova is the sweetest watch I've owned. Kenneth Cole's kick ass too. Very versatile, you can wear it with casual or dressy clothes and they don't have too much bling bling. Just enough to make some people look twice. Waterproof/chronograph ................

This board is bad for my bank account... I lost my watch in the water last week (cheap Timex) and I needed a new watch. I see this stupid post and I get to thinking I need a nice watch now! Doug I hold you personally responsible for my lack of self-control. I ordered the Eco-Drive Titanium Navihawk via HMEWatch today.

Best watch on earth in my opinion! It's a keeper, bullet-proof and you'll be happy with HME-Watch.

No, they're not paying me for an endorsement, just another happy customer.

HME seemed great on the phone. I told them that I had heard of them here so maybe you will get another sponsor!

Much to dressy for me... I live in Maine so people would laugh at and then beat me if I had a fancy watch!

You'll not need another watch for a very long time. All it's gadets and stuff are ok but the thing that keeps me happy is it's impecible time keeping abilities. Doug's not kidding about losing 2 second over several years.

I double check my watch with my home office wall clock and the ACARS in the jet, both which synchronize with the 'atomic clock' and I haven't had to reset it since I purchased it in 2002.

Simply awesome.

And I'm a time geek. If it's more than a three seconds off, it drives me crazy until I reset it with a verifiable official source. So if hotel pick up is at 0800 and it's 0759:58 seconds, I'm on time!

Yeah it's a pretty slick little piece of machinery. And it's tough. I've worn mine almost literaly everyday for three years straight and while the band (mainly the clasp because it gets the most contact with surfaces) is a little scratched (I've got the stainless steel) it's still in very nice shape. And considering I wear it around the airplane (which has claimed so many pairs of pants and shirts that I care not to remember) the fact that the glass is not scratched at all is simply amazing to me. I bang the thing on doors, wings, get av gas on it, I'll wash the airplane with it on ... it's nearly indestructible.

The titanium version is awesome. Light, tough and is akin to Wonder Woman's deflective bracelets. *Bing!* *Pow*

Heh .. yeah but see with the stainless steel version you can tie it to the end of a rope, swing it around and do some serious damage to the bad guy.™

Thing has some serious weight to it!

Or take it off and do curls, bench presses, hell it's an entire workout routine on your wrist! ...

I wish I ordered it earlier in the week. Now I have to wait until Monday since FedEx does not deliver here on Saturday or Sunday.
