Hello all,

I am looking to upgrade to a Bose headset! After starting to instruct 100+ hours per month I think it is much needed. Does anyone have one for sale or know of someone who does?

Thanks in advance!

I have a lightspeed zulu mint new in box less than 4 hours of use. Has everything. This was xtra for passenger.

why not, Lightspeed or Telex?

Great way to save $500.00. I just bought the Bose QC-15 ANR head set for $300.00 and the UFLYMIKE for $225.00. I bought because of an article in last month AOPA magazine. It works GREAT! Can not say enough good about it. I am a student pilot about ready to take my final checkride.

I guess I am just looking for a Bose because I figured I could get a better deal on a used one. I had to sell two used David Clark's to save up a bit for a used headset with ANR. There really isn't any other reason.

Are you selling the headset? If so, would you PM me with a price? Thanks for the help!!

I have one for $650. Used for about 8 months and still has 4 years and 4 months left on the warranty. I upgraded to the newest Bose.

Thanks for the info - that looks like a great idea!

I have the same setupwith the QC2 and it works great in a jet..

Do you put it together yourself or do you send it to uflymike and they fix it up for you? If you do it yourself, is it fairly self explanitory?

Just obtain a QC2 or QC15 headset from any vendor you like and purchase the uflymike from uflymike and put it together. It it is idiot proof and takes less than 5 seconds to assemble. It plugs into a port on the bottom of the headset that the Bose headset cord would normally.

NOTE: You can only use a QC2 or QC15 with it. No other models will work.

I have kind of broken my uflymike adapter with too much repeatitive folding. There is fuzzy stuff poking out of the cord flare thingy (there is an electrical term for this.) I wonder if I can repair it myself buy buying a new cord from Sigtronics and soldering it in.

just call them and see what they want to repair it. I've spoken the staff their several times and they were very knowledgable and helpful. Don't know if they'll charge you or not though.
