I Hate Winter.....

Block or better baby!

Oh yeah, I don't like cold weather either, snow isn't so bad as long as it doesn't stick around too long.

....and snow sucks.

That is all, carry on.

 WHAT? :( :( :( That makes me very sad. Do you hate Christmas too? Are you just a big, ugly  Scrooge?

I kid! I normally love winter but this year I'm not all excited and praying for snow everyday. Maybe it's because I have Oliver to steal all of my attention this winter! :D

I love winter! I'm in south Chicago, and we got all kinds of snow last night. Wasn't so much fun driving in it, but it was a blast having a snowball fight! I've flown in plenty of snowy areas, and I'll never get tired of snow.

Cold, I don't like it. But snow... Bring it on!

Landing on a 6000 foot runway when the visibility was 1/2 mile in +BLSN with fair braking action was always a treat. :panic:

Put me down in the haters club. I used to like winter until I moved to Michigan. FlyChicaga I love the avitar. I wish they were still around. My favorite all time flight instructor ended up flying there. He loved it from what I remember. I used to fly them from GRR to MDW to go home. Great service. Sorry for the thread jack.

Well there is no winter in Fresno. There are only two seasons: hot, and %&#!ing hot. My apartment windows are open all "winter" long.

We didn't get as much but it's been a mess. That and I had to deice Colgan.

That is one thing I don't miss about working for the airlines. I always seemed to be the sucker that was in the basket. I actually didn't mind it too much, It kept me off the counter, and that would be the only thing I would do for the flight, especially when I worked mornings.

Now I just have to shovel my driveway, Why dad hasnt bought a snow blower as an upgrade gift I have no idea?

I love the snow! :) The kids and I ski, throw snowballs, and there's nothing like the clear blue sky over the pristine white snow. Had my first x-country (I know, I'm in the wrong thread) and flying over the frozen lakes in northern MN was great. But, I have to admit it was no fun to preflight the plane :(, and a 1 hour car commute was 2 hours during yesterday PM's snowstorm on I-94 :banghead:. I don't know if I want to live in a place where the bugs don't freeze to death each winter..

Yeah the money is the only good thing about deicing. All the MIF line personnel are actually employed by Colgan to deice their a/c.
