I got referred to Puerto Rico......

I'd say pretty good, though none of us really knows what the real odds are for any facility. However, I don't think many people have picked it as their first option, so the odds may be in your favor here.
 
I live in Puerto Rico and work at SJU airport. Before choosing my GEo Prefs I talked to the Tower Manager at and he told me that he got a couple of trainees and that they are not going to hire for at least 6 - 12 months.
 
well i was just referred.........which means i still have to go to my interview.........wait for my academy date.......go to the academy.......THEN report to my facility.........id say six months would be rushing it at the rate the FAA works...........what do u think?

What do you mean you've been referred?

If you mean on your ASAP application page, then everyone who has a Qualified score (70+) gets referred. To know whether or not you're actually selected is if you get a PEPC invite. Otherwise, you're just like the rest of us HOPING to be selected. Referral list = Not JOB offer..

wow genius.........thats the whole point of this topic.......what r the odds........does puerto rico need people........and no.......not everyone is like the "rest of us" .......some people have better chances......

Not trying to step on any toes here, but replying with smart-ass remarks to someone who's been around for a while probably isn't the best way to get help around here.

Please, go back to school and learn how to punctuate correctly. Better yet, learn what grammar is while you're at it.

You did NOT get referred to Puerto Rico. You just got referred for "Throughout the nation."

And what are your odds? Oh yeah, let us all pull out our magical crystal ball. So far we're all hedging on a 21038127312:1 odd right now. Sorry, it's NOT in your favor!

Next time, try reading what OTHERS have posted before creating a new thread. You want help? Check your attitude at the door next time. It isnt very tolerated around here....

......i see all of these PUBNAT's under most of the profiles above......does that mean youre pretty much all OTS(funny)? another funny.........Bigey......says uve been a member since January 2005? does that mean ur STILL waiting?
 
i donno... im not atcer.. but 1 thing i no is that atc is like a lot of waiting....... ur waiting 4 like a loooooong time b4 u get to b a atc... so many tests idonno how u do it omg.
