After months and months of running around with TSA I got my fingerprints taken at Ameriflight in Burbank Airport today, the lady said she'll Fedex them tonight and by next week I should have full clearence to go ahead and start trainig.

Make sure you call the TSA and confirm they have received them. My fingerprints sat around for two weeks until I called and inquired about the delay. They responded that the fingerprints hadn't arrived yet, which I informed them was not correct, because I had tracked them via FedEx. THey found them and the process went forward. The TSA background check from what I have seen is a extremely inefficient process, and if you dont constantly keep up with them and call and inquire it will take months to get approval. They even went past their own 30 day deadline for approval and when I called they simply stated there was nothing they could do, the deadline doesn't really mean anything. Good luck with that process.
