It’s official now I suppose…unless OE goes TU, so yea. Thats a thing; I guess I have “made it” in this industry, certainly further than I ever thought possible.

From the 22 year old kid who first posted here more than a decade ago while sitting in a tent in a far sandier place, wondering just what the hell to do with my dreams…thank you all.

Private at a 141, the rest of the ratings ATP fast track.
Instructed up until 1500 at a couple schools, then 135 freight for 4 years, then here for 3.

Couple college degrees along the way, couple management/lca positions. But pretty much the tried and true advice you see echoed on here

When Air Force guys mentioned the zoo it meant the AF academy. Not sure why.

Also the nickname for one of the POW camps in North Vietnam. But you are correct, most Air Force peeps would be referring the the academy when mentioning “the zoo”.
