I did a thing

Maybe 2.3. I dont know. I really didn’t care at that point for a variety of bad reasons.

So why does your airline care about seeing that nonsense?

It‘s one of a number of factors.

Maybe, just speculating, if it’s a younger candidate, it shows some aptitude. But on an older or more experienced candidate, they
ve got a deeper work history to display aptitude.

Again, I’m a solid C average dude so clearly it’s not a big issue.

Okie doke.

I thought there was some tangible information floating around and I wanted to give it the “smell test”.

Anecdotally, I was hired for my smoothness and swagger despite my total indifference to the Riddle curriculum (and my poor GPA showed! :) )

”Ooh! It’s the midterm of Systems and Components, pop quiz on leading edge devices and flap types, that’s what I took a bunch of Advanced Placement high school classes for!” :)

That old school 727 triple slotted fowler flap tho...

I went to the Delta sim for my PT about six months ago, and boy howdy did those newhires look about 12. My sim partner and I were about the age of the Delter instructors, and our instructor looked like he should be carrying tablets down from some mythic mountain next to the local gentry. Just an observation...we had a great experience and everyone was very pleasant, no Haterade here. Also, the sim was modern and didn't break at all, which I can't say about *ahem* a certain sim in Denver. The facility was very impressive, I'm sure you'll have (or at this point are having) a good experience. And, of course, congrats, again.

I wouldnt know because i work at southernjets intonashionul but ive heard they have in house programers for the sim and have eye witness accounts of watching a 737 sim die and smoke, they predicted 1:15 of downtime, we were up and running in 1:13.

Homey dont play.

Wow, congrats to you, too! You've even got the vernacular down!

Homey dont play.

My impression as well. We would wander in to the break-room for coffee/pee-time while switching seats and it was basically like the Washington Generals showing up in the Harlem Globetrotters' locker room. A whole lot of slit-eyed "what did you scumbag charter swine break on my sim, THIS TIME" being tele-glared.
