How would one lock in a CRJ?

She huh? Who do you work for? I recently read that only like 91 out of 1500 or so pilots at Skywest are female. A girl I went to high school with is a pilot for Skywest. What has everyones experience with female pilots been?

Not even that at this point. Things are really busy right now, so I stand to make a lot of money and fly a lot of hours yet before the year is up. I also want to wait and see what kind of changes the upcoming 135 re-write will bring about. If it looks like I have no shot at moving into other aircraft by the new year, then yes, I will be bailing- most likely to another freight company.

Plus if I change jobs now, I won't be able to go to Vegas, so if I did, it wouldn't be until November at the earliest!

I bought tickets last year for my girlfriend and I, and then couldn't go. I begged and pleaded with Continental and got a credit on them. I called back this year to rebook, and could use the credit, but had to pay a $100 change fee each. These tickets have become quite the investment, I need to get a return on it!

Plus my girlfriend will kill me if we don't go. She has been looking forward to it since last summer!
 
So then I get emails and many ask:

"Doug, I'm a female pilot and I have a question about (whatever)"

I say, "Hey! Welcome! Join the forum and post it there, I'm sure there's someone that may have a better answer than that for ya!"

They respond "Nah, I lurk and I don't want to deal with 'all of that' stuff'"

"Stuff?" I ask...

"You know, like (blank) and when (blank) changed her avatar and people went crazy like Donkey Kong sending her PM's and acting a fool".

"Oh... yeah. Nevermind!"
 
You should hear one of my friends in SLC talk about being a pilot sometimes. I thought I had it bad... Crap, I only get about 5% of the "whitty comments" that she does.

A woman pilot flies the plane just like a guy. Rotates at VR, lands at Vref+5, may or may not have a layover beer but may wear a 'chevron' tie as opposed to the standard tie.

That's about it.

Well, having lived in Florida and me living in AZ, anything over three years of straight residence means you're a local!

Beside, only a few people are actually "from Arizona" and all of the people that are actually "from Florida" all are living in Bithlo. And I don't mean the "new and improved Bithlo" either!

I remember when Kristie was taking classes at UCF and we only had one car...wait, well, I was too lazy to drive my car down from the ATL employee parking, and I'd drop her off on campus, I went down to a Wal Mart near Bithlo to waste some time and HOLY COW, I saw things at that Wal Mart that I figured only happened in a Billy Bob Thornton movie.
