How To Start A B-737

I finally watched the video, lasted about 10 seconds before I thought:

a. You're doing a crappy "first flight" pre-flight.
b. How cute, you're programming an FMS before you align it. Wait, you're typing a route into the FMS? FMC uplink, bitches!
What's wrong with tossing the route in while it's aligning? We do that all the time.

And sometimes the uplink doesn't work! :)

These videos irritate me, some 300 hour wizz kid pays for his type rating and job - then videos the novelty of being an "airline pilot". You're at Ryanair you dummy, not something to be proud of and where is the captain in all of this? He's willing to risk his ticket during engine start while the FO is hanging out the window video taping the engine spinning.
Rant over!
Aww, give the kid a break. He does work for Ryanair, but if you know anything about him, he started out towing gliders, then moved up to flying a King Air before he got hired at Ryanair. Besides, he has made a couple of other really cool videos. But yeah... where is the captain???!!?

I love autostart. But when the autostart computer goes out, then it is a lot of button pushing. Lets see, hold down crank, then ignition. Meanwhile you are holding the NTS check, and the E handle. :)

I do not miss flying the airplane. What an archaic piece of crap! You can start up a 737 a lot quicker than that with less systems being selected. :)
