How many will attend the Roundtable?

This is the only thing we have scheduled so far, as far as I know. It looks like we'll have the discussion based on the topics so eloquently listed by Matt (Mr. JC) and a fo' real Q&A about what this is all about (the career).

I just realized (again) today that I really don't have a clue yet (I'm still such a rookie) while I was talking with a 54 year old Contenental Captain, but I will be glad to share my perspective.

Where is Velo or CO CA are they coming?

Is Doug coming to our Roundtable . . . I think his perspective with us new(er)bies would be great.

I like the customer service angle, too. Too many people assume that since we've got a cockpit door there's nothing we can do from a customer service standpoint, which is so very, very wrong.

I always say, the faster you realize that being an airline pilot is a customer service job that allows you to fly airplanes, rather than the other way around, you'll be a much happier individual.

Seriously folks... don't miss this opportunity.

what's the approximate end time so i can update the .mac schedule and put it up for all to see?

We should be able to be in there by 1500 local (probably sooner because we will be moving from a room to the suite)so 1530 should work . How many hours guys 2? 2 1/2? 3? I think 3 hours would probably handle it at most . . . you never know once you get pilots talking:D

As far as the location . . .

It is nowhere near the size of the way cool NJC suite, but it will be bigger than the apartment Win and I had in the City (SF) and we had a party with about 25 once. I fear that 25 is about the limit but we are willing to cram in more if necessary. I will get a peek on Sunday and advise at the event. I will need everyones text message number so that we can send out the room number after we check in.

Guys, we may have to split the roundtable sessions into 2 groups with this amount of people.

Ethan, Matt and I have all spoken about this contingency this and it may be the best solution. I will try to get a look at the suite when I arrive on Saturday.

I've got nothing planned other than the MGM tour on Monday, so if we need to split it into two, I'm cool with that.
 
Kristie, can we reopen the poll and have one session that starts at 1530 and then plan for one that starts at 1730 (90 minutes each with a 30 min break)?

Maybe we take the poll to 40 and then have standby?

Some of the voters will be in attendance at both sessions, because FlyChicaga, BobD, Cruise, Kell, and I all voted.
 
Would the two sessions be identical (as can be) or will the subjects be divided up as well?
Possibly to focus topics to specific groups?

Ok, I have two sessions up in the poll....for those of you coming to the roundtables, pick a session. we can only permit 15 people per session (not including the roundtable presenters => flychicaga, bobdduck, kellwolf, cruise and bumblebee)
 
Kristie, I dont seem to be able to vote in the "New" poll because I already voted. I dont know if you can create an entirely separate poll.
