The last few days have been right around 7 hours of dual given, and most of its in a mooney it aint to bad but its nothing like our comanche (get to fly it tomorrow so im happy)

today was 8.3 but I fixed that real fast with 7.3 of that being in the mooney. And seen a nice Tstorm over IFP today. What about everyone else.

I could have But I had to put 8.0 because of that one reg, I dont know what one it is right now but im going to go find it.

I wouldn't go around bragging about busting regs.

Keep up the good work, and keep it under 8 hrs.

And the reg is 61.195(a), which took a grand total of 3 seconds to look up. Try this site, it will help

but you instructed more than 8 hours! just because you didn't log it doesn't mean anything. and if you think just not logging it makes it legal, then you'd also have to go back into your students logbook and take away .3 of dual from his records. just watch yourself, and keep it to 8 and under.

by the way, i logged a whole 28.1 hours of dual last month

it is seriously depressing right now, things are slowwwww.

I'm with you, things have been slow, but look up! Summer break is coming and business will get going soon!

how many flights? what time do you start and end your day?

With Bowling Green State University I am logging 5-7 hours a day! Exhausting, but every time I add up a page, that gets me one step closer to going from 5-7 hours a day to 5-7 legs a day

isn't it funny, my girlfirend just can't understand how sometimes we CFI's spend 12-16 hours at the airport and only get paid for maybe 2 of it sometimes. she thinks we should get paid from when we show up to when we go home, but i keep telling her it doesn't work that way. silly little italian girl

oh, and i logged a whole 1.0 today...one student right now up solo so no time for me on that one.

Nothing silly about your girlfriend's thinking. Instructors should get paid for any required office work they have to do, but unfortunately it almost isn't the case.

I have no problem with the fact that I'm not getting paid in between flights. If a doctor has a his/her own practice, (s)he won't get paid for time spent between patients. If a lawyer is in the office, and not working on a case for a client, (s)he isn't getting paid for his/her time.

We want to compare ourselves to professionals in other fields all the time - what's the difference?
