2 build-up/coverage line holders.
3 support Dispatchers: a Chief Dispatcher, a Dispatch Instructor, and a Dispatch Systems Administrator (IT support).

There are 8 instructors and an entire "support" department that alone is like 10 people- but they are in a different city.

When I started at ExpressJet there were probably close to 150 when you include the coordinators. Current has 80ish including coordinators.

To answer this question for real. Chicago downtown Major Airline currently has 440!

SWA has 271 active dispatchers and about 90 more that make up our other groups like Superintendents, ATC, Specialists and Assistants. So currently around 360 total. Should be close to 400 by year’s end...have a new class of 17 starting next month and word is a similar sized class later in the year.

AA has around 440 including the class currently in training.

UPS is sitting right around 100-ish now. That includes the current class as well as the few that have left in the last few months. Haven’t looked at the exact number recently but I think I’m close.
