If you're MikeD, you address the TRSA however you want. If they've got problems with that, then threaten to turn off your transponder and cancel your IFR clearance.

I brought this up because both to and from Miramar, we utilized Banning pass.I agree. I always used socal or psp appr, especially entering banning pass on a good, hazy day.
That's why all the windmill generators are right there.I've always noticed how the fog stops right at the pass, too. Strange. I also love the steady 40 knot headwind's I have to deal with when we fly out into the Basin through the pass from PSP.. you look down at the 10 below you and the semi's in the slow lane are going faster than your 50 knot groundspeed, hehe.
