Its funny to watch the people here from Houston that obviously have never lived anywhere north of here, going CRAZY like the apocalypse is coming when the flurries started!! People stocking up at the grocery store today when i was buying stuff for chilli.. And the gas lines were long...

Twas funny, wasn't it? I had to laugh at them as well.

My wife had a Company Christmas party scheduled for Friday evening. Once it started snowing a little bit, they cancelled. They had reserved a spot at an Italian restaurant downtown as well as hotel rooms for all the employees. But, because of a little snow they thought it would be unsafe. Silly Houstonians.

By 6 pm it had passed, roads were nice, and traffic was normal.

East of I45, it snowed, but nothing stuck, so all we got was wet ground. Depressing.

I was in Houston on Dec 3rd for a DHL charter and they were going to have me spend the night there in case DHL wanted another charter in the morning, but after hearing the head DHL guy say that nobody would agree to deice DHL airplanes I got the hell back to Addison. That airport just shuts down when ice and snow happen.
