Hot NetworkJC News:

What makes ths great, is these guys are EAGER to meet you too! They want to engage you, hear about what your doing, give you advise to be more competitive, find out what word on the street is about their airline (good and bad) - hiring departments strive to make their company the most attractive, meetings like these are invaluable to them.

It gives you time to ask questions, and if you engage - if you guys make the passage of information two ways - they will reply to every email, dig threw the pile of resumes to review yours first, etc.

I am sure a number of people will get jobs threw this connection, and I would not be surprised if one of them did not have a PPL when they attended.

Guys, look. I don't meet the mins for Delta or Allegiant, either. But I'd be crazy to miss out on this one. Meeting the people ahead of time, when you DO have the mins, you can make the "Hey, remember me? I met you at XXXX and was interested in your company even before I qualified" phone call.

Heck, my wife pretty much told me to go without her if she couldn't work out a babysitter deal for Gavin.

Yea, and remind them you will send the pics of them in Vegas as evidence you have met before :sarcasm:

Truely a great thing to meet these people NO MATTER where in the career path you are!

So will anyone else be wearing bells, besides me????? Ooh ooh, pick me!

:p :hiya:

i am going to try my hardest to make it. i think i will be instrument rated by then too! do you think anyone would be willing to pick me up from the north las vegas airport?

Very gusty and windy at KVGT every time I have been up there. You might need your instrument for BLDU.

Amorris, I live here so hit me up if you need a ride from VGT. That goes for anyone else too. :)

Wow truly amazing Doug.

Curious: Did these recruiters come after you to set up some stuff at NJC, or was it a lot of pursuit from your side? Either way, the amount of work you and Kristie put into this site for the benefit of the rest of us is well appreciated.

And with that I am now O skoo'.:D

A combination of "Hey! If they're coming, can we come?" plus me begging/groveling, plus a of our users making the case in their pilot selection departments.

It's been a challenge, but it's growing! I've got some other airlines asking for details too.

I can put in a call to see if we can get another regional represented if ya want.....

So this is turning out to be a full-blown job fair affair...how's this being worked into the schedule?

As of right now, It'll be from 5pm-7:30pm (in the Bellagio suite) on Sunday night before the main event starts at 8pm

We should have a tentative schedule up fairly soon.. just working out the odds and ends of the roundtable sessions before we get it out there.

Just to be clear: Skywest and American Eagle are sending folks FROM their HR Department. Expressjet is sending a "representative" who will take resume's and recommendations back to the HR department.

Well, given my airlines' new stance of "1000/200 unless you've done a bridge program" I, personally, don't think they'd mess well at NJC. Unless we want someone there pushing JetU on people to get to the airlines faster.....
