Horizon at 750/50

subpilot

Squawking 7600
Just saw that they lowered mins to 750/50 the rumor is they need about 70 pilots between now and next spring (this is a lot for Horizon).

Can someone who works at Horizon please throw me a bone because I have had my application in with them for almost one month now and still no response. Everyone I hear of getting interviews either knew someone working there or went to UND. I am about ready to call them and just say hello if anyone has a good number for their hiring department.

Thanks.

There is a UND grad that has worked for them for the last 3 years. He runs the blog, Blogging at FL250. I mentioned this to you before I think.

He JUST left to go to an airline in which he can upgrade faster. Surprised me because he was very "Don't work for an airline based on upgrade" for a long time.

You're ready to leave Eagle?

You're ready to leave Eagle?

Well, here's the deal.

I am moving to Portland, Oregon next spring becuase that is where my wife and I are originally from. We have family up there and all that. Dallas is OK for me but my wife wants to move back.

Do I want to leave Eagle? Not exactly

Do I want to start commuting? Absolutely NOT!!!

I would rather start over my seniority and drive in to work than keep my year but have to start commuting to ORD or DFW (LAX is way to senior for me since I will be on the jet next spring).
