There was no mention of T-props in the last EAS bid for Southeast, so they are locked into jet service at least till that runs out and they have to rebid again.
I lol'edWhich is more than Commutair Captain pay
In the interest of clarification, I made just short of 35k my first year at QX, before per diem. I didn't fly that much.Let's not forget that $27k first year FO pay is not exactly stellar either.
A regional is a regional is a regional. They all suck ass.

They move a lot of cargo with those combis. I wonder what they'll do with that.I think those expire in 2015 which supposedly coincides with the retirement of the -400 combis depending on who you talk to.
That seems more than almost ANY other regional as a first year FO. How many hours did you get?In the interest of clarification, I made just short of 35k my first year at QX, before per diem. I didn't fly that much.
I dont know. But Alaska is pretty bad about getting bypass mail out to western Alaska. By the time it gets to us it is already late. NAC gets the most because they have the first daily departure to Nome. They move a lot of cargo with those combis. I wonder what they'll do with that.

I got a 'thanks but no thanks' response real quick too. I think my multi time is my achilles heel...I applied on Saturday, and just got a call for an interview on the 16th, so they seem to be pretty quick about getting back to qualified applicants.

How much do you have? I only have 51 hours multi, so apparently ATP minimums there are fine with them.
