He's got some mad skillz to be able to land the plane into the jail. If I were him I would have landed it into a 5-star resort. LOL

"Lands in jail"... I get it.

"Daredevil homeless man" would seem to suggest that his daredeviling isn't really very good.

Well, I guess the the dream of flight finally got to him.....Maybe if he sharpened his appearence somebody would have offered him a ride along....idk.... just glad nobody got hurt.........If I were him I would have gone for the cessna instead of a taildragger lol:D

Back in 1967 at KPHX, a guy stole stole a Cessna 172 following a police chase. The police shot at the aircraft as he was taxiing out and hit/killed the pilot (he slumped over and out of view. The 172 had its power in and got airborne, flying around for a bit on climbout before rolling over and crashing on the field perimeter.

Crazy. Here's the NTSB report, but it was back when they didn't have a lot to say. With the media's current sentiment against GA, I'm sure it would've made the national news if it happened now.

Mike, why was it never like that in old 80's television? :)

Since WACO hasn't commented, I guess I would make the observation if he would have flown a tricycle gear airplane, he would have prolly made a clean get away since they are easy to fly.:)

or did he collapse the nose gear??
