Every airplane changes cg in flight unless the fuel tanks are perfectly in line with the CG.

Ya, and on the PA-44 the a.c. becomes more stable as the fuel is used unlike some a.c.
'Ammo depletion' was never on my pre-flight.
Also, think about tankers.
These things take careful thought is my point and I find these nuances very interesting.
