One of our members just flew his last ExpressJet flight before he heads "down south" for a new opportunity. Perhaps he'll say something! ;)
 
"Down south" is a great place! Especially to get away from the upcoming Winter. Hopefully he will tell of his new adventures.
 
Well, thats TWO...Know a guy here in Texas who just took his last expressjet flight. Maybe a couple a guys will get to go back to work now.
 
I guess I'm going to have to teach him what "speed line", "half sweet", "awabs", the difference between eCrew and iCrew, and what "RD/Western/FNWA/Northie/RD/Southie/Yellowbird/Wallybird" mean. And how to throw in a Chicago & Southern joke at an a propos time.

Oh and how to speak USAF, USN, Marine, SAC....

As in the proper time to say, "Damn man, what were you in SAC or something? Calm down bro, 5 ways to skin a cat, Hoss!"

Or how to politely say "Maybe that's how they teach it at the Colorado school for wayward boys!"

Seriously, who the hellz is it?! I'm anxious to know! You've been dropping hints for the last week Dough, and I'm too stupid to figure them out.

Anywho, huge congrats to whomever (whoever?) it is! :beer:
 
I flew with him one time at XJT, just for a daytrip if I recall. I think SouthernJets made a good decision to hire him!
 
Any chance this person was a fNWA poolie? That's my guess anyway....:dunno:

I'll probably receive scorn for this but all this secrecy is so very juvenile to me... I mean really, really are we back in middle school. Probably not because I would have already known by now that Bobby was dating Cindy but secretly messing around with Jennifer on the side... I thought this was a site for adults, not the current issue of Tiger Beat magazine.

Yet hints about things that should bring praise to the person(s) in question are told publicly in a purposeful manner to peak curiosity and cause drama. Kinda like when someone says "OMG I have juicy rumor... but I can't tell you, because I promised not to." So, then the obvious question is always... why'd you bring it up then?

Is this the CW, did I tune into an episode of Gossip Girl or something? Is this dramatic episode arc going to play out for the entire season or just until November sweeps? Stay tuned!

Geez, I didn't know that offering congrats to someone would be so frustrating, dramatic and incredibly immature.

Not calling anyone out... but just sayin'
 
Doug brought it up. I think it's a lot like having you kid achieve something really great, being so excited about it, but not wanting to spill the beans and steal his thunder. So you leak a little bit out to help build the hype of his/her announcement. I think it's cool. If I worked my ass off running a website to help people network and a guy achieved his goal because of something that I helped create, I'd be starting threads like this too.

Some people like to never officially name their employer on the internet, no matter how easy it may be to figure out. I do this, and I feel like I can speak slightly more freely because I am in no way representing the place that gives me a paycheck.
 
So you get 10% of the take from everyone on-board and 10% of their 10% for everyone they bring to the company too, right? That's the new pension plan.
