I posted this on the Pro Pilot board, but I can't resist sharing my good fortune with the entire group. This morning I was offered a class date at Chautauqua Airlines!

Things move pretty fast ... considering my interview was yesterday!! Two weeks to get ready to go ... so much to do!

I hope this encourages everybody out there ... people are climbing the ladder, no doubt about it!!

FL270 ... What were your current hours when you interviewed? Just wondering if they are still sticking to the bare minimums or are higher.

Right on man. This is good news. Hopefully some of my other friends will be getting calls soon too. Enjoy the jungle jet!!!
 
For those who asked class is April 19th. My times are approximately 1315 tt, 370 me, and 175 turbine. People in my class were as low as 1100/150. At least two guys had less multi time than I did. A good mix of people ... a couple CFIs, some 135 drivers, a pilot from another regional, and a furloughed TWA/AA pilot.

I would say to start sending your resume in around 1000 hours or so and update regularly. Pretty much everybody I interviewed with had sent resumes in multiple times before they got the call. I sent mine in seven times over 18 months and had it walked in three times before I finally got the call.

Chautauqua will be doing a bunch of hiring this year ... we were told classes every month until further notice. Good luck to those who are applying!
 
Congrats...had a buddy that just got hired by them a month ago. I think he just got through his ground classes etc. Seems like they are actively hiring right now.
