Hired!

OMG... not the dancing banana! It's sort of funny. I've been starting to pack stuff up for the drive across to Dayton and wouldn't you know it... my car decides to get sick (some sort of coolent problem). Grr. Good thing it did it today and not Saturday in the middle of Oklahoma. In other bad news... there is no internet in the hotel PSA puts you up in. So I guess I'll be going into JC withdrawl for a while.
 
Way to go! I just got the call yesterday for an August 22nd class date. I think it was about a 2 week turn from the time I sent in my resume to job offer. Did you fly the 737 sim? That thing was way cool.

When is your class date? I'm guessing 2 weeks before August 22. I used to live in Charlotte and I'm hoping to get based there.
 
I flew the -200 sim. First time all glass. Fun Fun. I start on Monday. There were two or three spots left in the class when I interviewed. Congrats on getting hired. Seems like a great place to be. From what I have heard about 90% of the lines will be out of CLT starting in September.

Thing of note... Thre isn't any internet in the training hotel so I will be off line for the next month or so unless I steal it from some where. Have a good one all....

Just find your local Starbuck's ! The two vices....Coffee and internet...Can't be beat.
 
Downside to Starbucks is that I think you have to pay for a Tmobile Hotspot subscription. There are a lot of mom and pop coffee shops with free internet, and Panera and Schlotsky's are always good for free loading.

If you're on here, I was wondering how training is going. Anything you didn't bring you that you wish you had? I leave on Sunday for Dayton. I was going to drive but gas is too expenisve (I'm broke right now!) and I am unable to leave before Sunday afternoon.
