Hired Q400

I love how everytime someone that just gets hired and is very happy about their lives for that moment gets shot down by everyone who is unhappy. I have just spent two monthes in training and I swear everyone who comes up to me that has been there for more than 5 years has something negative to say.....go find something else to complain about and find someone else to do it on. If you don't like your job...leave....if you choose not to for whatever reason, in my opinion you have just given up your right to bitch. Some of use are happy with where we are. Unless you have were just born into being a pilot applying at these companies you should know good and well what the reputation is going around the company and therefore these people do not need lectures to rain on their parade.

Congrats on getting the job with Colgan on the Q. I hope you continue to have your good attitude for as long as you work....I promise you will be happier than most of these people. CHEERS

Hey, I'm not hating. I'm just living in reality. I've just seen too many guys at my airline come in with a similar attitude only to be the ones b*tching a few short months later wondering why no one told them what was going on.

I'm going to refrain from particular comments as they have me deadheading today from

Leg 1 AUG-BOS
Leg 2 BOS-CLT
Leg 3 CLT-CRW
Leg 4 rent a car drive from CRW to BKW

HOPEFULLY I get back to my base of Albany Thursday or else I might not make it to NJC on Saturday :(
 
Seggy, just out of curiosity, how do they pay you guys over there if you have to drive from one airport to another? With us, it's flight pay if we do the driving or DH pay if it's a taxi.
 
We get paid LIMO pay.

They have it as a one hour drive from CRW to BKW so I will get paid a half hour of pay credit. If one gets stuck in traffic you call and they adjust it.

First of all do you even work for colgan? If not who the hell are you? Look I did my research on Colgan and every other RJ Airline out there, and somebody always has something to b*tch about one way or the other. This is getting to old!!!
One last thing and maybe this would help you understand a little bit.
We all are getting paid peanuts to fly at the RJ level anyway.
Each airline just serves it to you in a differnt way. I took unsalted(CJC) while others my take honey roasted(CHQ)!!!!!:bandit:

I've seen too many guys bi*ching period.

I've always told folks, and will always tell folks: If it's so bad, pack your crap and find something else to do. And, for the folks whining after they got hired at the first place that would hire them with 600 hours, they really need to shut it and be glad that they have a job.
