On June 21 I interviewed at American Eagle for a mechanic position in Bangor, ME and was tendered a conditional offer of employment. I got a call last Friday that all I need to do is finish up my powerplant rating and I start training August 14th. I passed my O&P's for my Powerplant on June 25 so all I need to do is pass my classes and the written exam (which I take on July 26) and I am on my way. I will post a gouge on the interview for American Eagle and Horizon Airlines later this month when I have the time.
 
Congrats! Have fun in BGR! I lived there for quite a few years.....lots of buddies over at the airport. Enjoy!
 
Thank you guys for the congrats. I can't wait. These past two years have gone by so quick, but I can't wait to finish school and get working.
 
Well, it looks like positions opened up at Chicago O'Hare so it looks like I will be going there instead. I won't trust what the recruiter says until I get it it in writing, but this is looking good. Less than two weeks now and I am finally an A&P instead of an A.
