I was flying desks, but then got laid off after the sub-prime mortgage market crisis did a number on our company. :( I miss that job - it was very enjoyable. I did it for 6 years. I've been unemployed over one month so this job offer is a blessing.

I am moving to one of the crew bases to avoid commuting. I decided it'd be an adventure and fun to live out in the east coast for the first time... lots of things to do (close to NYC, DC, and other attractions). While I will miss San Diego greatly, I can always come and visit.
 
Congratulations! I once worked at Pennsylvania Commuter Airlines which then absorbed Suburban and became Allegheny and then merged with Piedmont which was once Henson! I know a lot of the guys are still around because it's a QOL thing to work and live in base with out and backs!
 
First of all, congrats. :rawk:

Second of all, finish those take home tests and compare notes with your classmates(When you get to SBY).

Third, study what's in front of you. Do not worry about anything further down to road

Piedmont is US Airways...right? I think they fly into Chattanooga...let me know if you ever get to town! (No one ever comes to Chattanooga :()

I didn't know you were there. Every trip I have this month has had a 19 hour overnight there. I still have one left (actually it carries through to next month) on the 3rd.
