Hijacked Ethiopian Boeing 767 Airliner lands

Im sorry, but they laughed at me so quick it irritated me. I got annoyed when i saw it was closed for discussion

LSGG currently closed. Inbound flights have been told airport is closed currently but may open soon. Aircraft is sitting on end of runway and I have been told talks are on going.

At least they got in. I've read they had a flame out and barely had the gas to land. Wow. Just wow.

Good thing this turned into an old school "take me here" hijacking and not 9/11...let's just hope no one was harmed on board...

Ok, Ill start. Id like to apologize to the OP for acting like a tool.
Same. Though I will add, something actually happens and the media took this long to pick it up?! I mean, a lot of time went by when the plane overflew Rome and landed in Geneva...

Wow, where'd you hear that? I knew they were low but didn't hear about a flameout. I'll have to check out the tower archive.

I was listening to LiveATC.net when the pilot said an engine flamed out, then announced 20 min fuel remaining. Crazy. Glad they made it on the ground.

I have no "source" other than reading A.net and getting texts from friends who were listening in, but multiple people told me so I'll buy it.

Right now they're negotiating in French on the tower freq it sounds like.

Especially with the Olympic scares you would certainly think it would have been a big story. The big outlets still dont have anything about it yet.
