High-Speed Chase Ends on Love Field Tarmac

I thought about him going into love field LONG before he actually did when he was on Harry Hines turning right on Mockingbird. Cops were too stupid to figure that one out. I would have for sure thought they would have pitted him when he made the turn into love. They brought this on themselves, morons.

I'm not sure if that would be a fair statement. No need to potentially put citizens in harm way by making a move prematurely if he himself isn't being too reckless. It probably benefited the cops by having him go into the airport.

Of course, you probably saw much more of the chase than I did, so you may have seen something I didn't.
 
I did see much more of the chase. I agree not to make the move prematurely, but you HAVE to make the move when he's on airport property before he busts through the fence.
 
I just saw an interview with an ex-dallas cop and he said agreed completely with me and even went more extreme to say they should have shot him ASAP once he broke the gate.:clap:The driver was nuts, they said he was smiling and laughing once apprehended
 
The pursuit then made its way onto Love Field Airport property and emergency operating procedures were immediately put into place by Love Field Police Officers and airport personnel. The stolen vehicle drove through a gate and onto the runway with several police vehicles still in pursuit. Air traffic was suspended on that runway. However, there were several plane at the opposite end of the runway that the suspect began driving towards.

Working ground and/or tower at that point must've been fun.

"Southwest 1234, go around, Chevy on the runway."
"Southwest 4321, taxi to 13L via delta, bravo, hold short 18, as soon as the last police car goes by, cleared to cross 18."
 
See the way I see it, if the guy had one of those Terrafugia LSA's, this whole thing would have been much more amusing to watch on TV.

There's more dangers to it than your average reality TV show depicts.

But hey, glad you can Monday Morning QB the "moron" cops and their situation so well, knowing both what a perp is going to do as well as what challenges the cops are facing in catching the guy.
 
If you've commited multiple felonies and have multiple cops after you...you're probably not getting away! If i was gonna go anywhere before jail, it'd be the airport! Seriously though, we had that happen here at LWM last summer. Just tack on the charges!
