Hiya, Triumph. I'm new, too. Welcome!

(Say, uh, you may want to consider easing up on the 'texting' way of writing your posts and use full words and, well, normal spelling. I could be wrong, though...just seems like this forum [and many others] appreciate that kind of thing.)

Welcome aboard! Ask questions here and you will get answers.

As far as beginning your career, I don't know much about Canadian rules. How old are you and what is your citezenship?

Sorry about the wording and language thing, i will use full wordings and proper grammar from now on. Thanks for the reminder anyways. And as for my age, I am a teenager and my citizenship is i guess China/Hong Kong SAC.

Howdy!

Well, you passed the first test. You haven't dropped out of high school and ran off to Delta Connection Academy because of what you read in a spiffy brochure!

You're probably multilingual, you get a pass! I'm only speak 'merican purdy good. :) :sarcasm:

By the way, i can't get my avatar changed. It keeps on automatically selecting "Do not use an avatar" but i can't get it 2 un-select. Can someone please tell me how to change it or add an avatar?

Hi there, I'm just a wife :) So I'm pretty useless around here. But I do know how to do an avatar, click the button that says "use custom avatar", then upload and save changes.

Thanks for the help and yes i am bilingual. I speak Cantonese and English. I can understand Mandarin and i can read a bit of French. I will take that as a compliment.

It IS a compliment, I'm jealous! I can only speak mostly English with light hints of German, French and a little bit of Taqueria Spanish! :)

It's a good group here, there are even quite a few Canadians too! Glad you got the avatar issue worked out, welcome!

In the states you must be 16 to solo a plane. If you really want to set the hook, go to a local airport, talk to an instructor, and take a flight. I was 15 when I took my first flight and I have never looked back. If you work hard, and get your PPL while still in high school, you can really pick up chicks by asking them if they want to fly to dinner sometime!!!!!

Welcome to the site Triumph!! your starting this out really good by doing your research early!! good for you!! :nana2:

You'll learn a ton here so don't be afraid to ask any questions or give any opinions...

:)

GTR...nice. Cool car, welcome to the boards. One question....Which one, R32,33, or 34? :)

Hey! What the *&&(^ does that mean? ;) I'm a *cough* wife. There ain't no "just" about it. (And not because being a wife...as much as one can BE a wife, anyway...is difficult or trying or even remotely conscious, but because the quantifier "just" before "wife" completely minimizes what a wife thinks of herself and her label.)

Ahem.

:)

Edited to add: Unless what you mean is, "I'm no pilot." Then, well, that makes sense. But one who isn't a pilot could just as easily say "I'm not a pilot" and it would sound a lot less playfully self-deprecating! :) :) :)

I'm not even a wife, just a friend! But this site is still great. Welcome and I hope you find your time here very educational and FUN!
