"Hey! I know that guy!" (Delta Super Fan Video)

I really enjoyed seeing this this morning! (kinda made my day, in fact...but then again, it's winter and I'm getting my entire logbook into LogTen Pro and studying for interview... o_O) I agree that it's neat to see younger kids fascinated by aviation. This kid has some serious brain capacity - wow!

Nope, wasn't my idea at all! I was sitting around the house, fat, dumb and happy and SouthernJets called to say they had a project that had my name written all over it and if I would be willing to help! :)

I really didn't know the initial video from the Kimmel show existed until they called so I'm literally getting briefed over the telephone and looking it up on YouTube at the same time.
Would you have done it if it was Jimmy Fallon?

Speaking to Harris was literally like speaking to myself at 12 years old.

Probably the coolest thing was having the parents tell me that now, after meeting me, they understand their son. His love of aviation and airports literally came out of the middle of nowhere, just like mine.

That's way cool! I always enjoyed giving squadron tours.

He aggregated data and looks for correlation.

We're all going to end up working for him one day.
Great video! It puts things into perspective to not take flying for a living for granted. Will you guys be keeping in touch?

That was such a good video, so neat you guys could do that. Hearing that kid talk about airplanes reminded me a lot of myself when I was younger. I had my 6th bday party at some small little regional class D airport; I've always loved airplanes and I love seeing that kind of passion in aviation from the younger generation. It's so much better when you have the opportunity to help share the passion. Well done @Derg, also, you just liked my FB post. I'm surprised I saw this first on FB not here:)
