Hey guys, I've arrived at Grand Forks this morning. Just met Chris (foxcow).

Since I don't have a computer, I won't be able to post here, but I'd like to meet you guys.
My phone number's (701) 777-8930 or 777-2924, still haven't figured out which one it is.

TTYL

edit- I must add that I'm depressed as hell.

angel, you comin to our cookout? i think i'm gonna start the fire around 5:30 or 6 and start cooking at 6:30 or 7. i actually saw your saab land this morning, i was on the ramp at flight support chocking up the arrow we'd just taken for a spin (no pun intended there).

Oh you will be fine. Once you get started with classes, you wont be as bored. Still its Grand Forks

Hello everyone,

Got settled, everything's a lot better now. Finally see some people.

God, but on Saturday, it seemed as if there had been a war or something. This place was DEAD.

Classes start today, yup, 102 and 103, so I better get moving...

The phone number's 7-8930, not the second one given.

Anyway I can meet any of you guys here?

TTYL.

Just noticed today that 103 starts until late June, so don't know yet.

-I've also met Grant (roundout) today. Very cool guy. Luckily, I had JC before coming here, 'cause these guys have been of great help since my arrival in town.

Any advice is welcome, lol.

what is 104?

You are kidding aren't you?

If not, maybe it changed from what you had. It is the commercial multi instrument checkride.

oh, the stage 104. i thought you were talking about a class. i was kinda "wtf?" who's your stage pilot? the 104 isn't that difficult if you know your systems and your multi stuff. the 323/71 was a much longer and far more difficult oral. the flights were both fairly straightforward.

Of course I get Jeff Thomas, but I heard he is a cool guy. I had a lead for my 323 stage too, Tim Klowan, also a great guy. I let you know how it goes.

I had Tim Klawon for my 71. Really cool. Knows a lot of about flying. He really sticks to the PTS when it comes to stagechecks though. One person that you dont want is Dana Seiwert... Nice guy but he will torch you on a stage check. I went up there a few times when he was doing some 104s to fix his computer, and the kids in there had frowny faces because Dana was taking them to town.

Yeah, Tim went straight out of the PTS, only stage pilot I have ever had that did that. My flight went well, didn't do everything great (read: could have done a lot better) but he said it was within standards.

Chris, you doing 325 this summer, or you just working?

how'd it go, lucas? did you kick jeffy's big butt?

[/ QUOTE ]

Well not really. I still passed, but I felt I could have done better. Obviously I couold have done much worse because then I would have failed it.

Glad to have the oral done, just the flight tomorrow and a satisfactory on that will make me happy and my girlfriend too!

Yep, Im working full time and doing multi. I saw you in Jeff's office yesterday. I would assume that was the beginning of the stage? Glad you passed.
