Hey guys.........

It's been awhile since I posted anything, but I have a quick question for ya'll. Tomarrow I have an interview with Mesa for a full time ramp job here in Phoenix. I just wanted to ask a few questions to see if anybody might have a few answers.

First off, how does Mesa treat its rampers? I've heard they are horribly understaffed in PHX.

Does anybody know, before I go ask Mesa, what they starting pay is? $7.50 per hour is what I heard, but I'd like to know what it advances to after 6 months to a year.

Lastly, how would you say the job security is? With the HP/US merger, I'd think that would help, but.......

I really appreciate any answers you might be able to provide.

Probably about as well as they treat all their other employees, so take that for what it's worth. As far as being understaffed, it might have something to do with working outside in 100+ heat day after day.

Wow, so it's not just the pilots getting the shaft there. That's about $1 an hour less than SWA pays their rampers, and they are considered on the low side for the first year. Not sure about Mesa's pay increases, though. I'm guessing this might also have something to do with them being understaffed.

If I could give ya a good answer to that, I'd be coming home from Vegas with a LOT more money than I came in with.
