Here we go again....

There's a little red button on the yoke, it disconnects the AP and then acts as an interrupt if you continue to hold it down. Additionally, the fadec and fbw boxes are likely isolated from this crap.

As long as I can operate the engines and primary flight controls, I'm not worried.
Indeed, though with ACARS there's really not anything anyone can do to you that'll screw you up too bad. Send you mean-spirited messages, maybe.

False CPDLC control instructions? Much worse, though I have a feeling that's locked down quite a bit tighter than open-air ACARS.

Even then we still have TCAS and EGPWS. What could somebody do besides cause a diversion?

Why, spoof the GPS signal and send them across the border into communist China of course! ;)
