I know I don't post much but....

Leaving for the hot sandy place in a few days. Gonna be filling in holes and tearing down buildings or something like that, who knows! I'll be back and starting flight training, so if anyone has a recommended "cheaper" or "reasonably priced" flight school near Fort Bragg, let me know. I'll have a bit of disposable cash just lying around to spend.

What unit are you in? I am at Bragg and in the same situation as you. Im going to start flight training after I get back (hopefully as a civilian). I sent you a PM. Be safe.
 
There is a small flight school out at the airport where the Knights practice. I can't remeber the name of it. I was going to go there right before I bounced and broke my hip. It seemed like a good place.

Ah, yes . . . Fayettenam!! My long cross country was from OAJ-RDU-FAY-OAJ!!! Those were fun times!!

If your going to be there over xmas, let us know what unit and where to send some care packages - we're looking for a new unit (or more) to sponsor this year since we weren't able to last year.
