Help with editing this picture

Hello. I have a picture of myself that I took today that I would like to use and play around with in photoshop but am pretty much a noob at CS5. I am wanting to make everything in the pic black and white except for me in the photo but really don't know how to do it. Could someone please help me or point to where in a tutorial I could find out how to do that? I would really appreciate it. Thanks. Here is the pic I want to use.

There's a video on about anything you can do with Photoshop. It takes time, but it's easy to become self taught.

If you google what you are trying to do, for example in this case, selective color, you'll get a Tom of videos on YouTube and other sites. Or if you just google photoshop tutorials, you'll be overwhelmed with the amount of self teach sites.

Clicking through the tutorial sites works best if you don't know what you're trying to do is called in Photoshop world.

Really am enjoying this job, well except the hours but oh well I might be getting an upgrade to a Beech 99 at the end of this month or sometime next month so I'm really looking forward to finally start logging Multi-Turbine PIC time and if I get the upgrade I'll be moving down to Texas. How about you?

Thanks, yeah I've been trying some of that though I sometimes don't know where to even start. I mean I didn't even know that it was called selective color, but thanks for the info.

Well hopefully next month I'll be back on the job flying 402's till I prove I won't crash or kill myself and eventually get into a metro. Ashley just finished up training at eagle btw.

Nope. He slipped and fell on his ass in a hangar and spent the winter in physical therapy. I think it was a hoax to get out of doing some real flying!!!!
