Help! My parents won't let me go to my dream college!

Ahhhhh...you're married, okay...and lol, so you're just there for the drinks.

I'm guessing beer, because you said cheap drinks at a gay bar. I was like arooo...I once witnessed a friend buy a peach martini for $12!

Back to topic..
Yeah i don't go out and drink mixed drinks unless someone else is buying. A 8 dollar margarita is against my religion. I'm a practitioner of Poorentology

Psyduck FTW!!!!!!!

Seriously, that has made more sense than any other post in this thread.

If you go to ERAU, you will miss out on nearly 100% of college experience.
I used to want to go there when i was in HS, but i am glad i dint.

good luck convincing your parents

Skip the bizness degree as well. Make good grades and become a Dr.

If healing the sick is your calling, and you don't faint at the sight of blood or bad smells.

I have to agree with some others. If you're not paying for college on your own, then you don't really have the authority to state where you're going or want to go. You can't ask for a toaster for your birthday and then tell the person giving it to you you wanted the red one.

If you ask for the red toaster ahead of time, you will likely get it. The person giving the gift likely wants you to be happy with what they are giving. The only reason to give a gift in the first place is to make the recipient happy. Once you receive a gift though, it is very bad manners to complain about it.

If ERAU has exactly the program you need to make your career happen, you should go there. If another University has what you need to reach your career goals, go there. Choosing a school based on extra-curricular activities, especially if the education you desire is less than excellent, will not place you competatively in the job market come graduation time. University degrees are about the rest of your life, not how much fun you can have in the few years after you first leave home.

Why pay 3x the amount for tuition for a degree you can get for half the price at an in-state college?!

Many, many med students finish their education with about $300,000.00 in debt. It takes a long time to pay that off. The less debt for your education, the better.

I worked very hard to finish school debt free because that was the very best thing I could do for my future.

Good luck in all you do.

Hey, I met this girl who went to Cornell for a Hospitality degree (four year). It seems like a waste.

I just saw this after my previous post.

I have had a few doors opened for me simply because I trained at Cornell. An Ivy League education will open the door to some opportunities that degrees from elsewhere state university don't open automatically.

The Hotel Management School at Cornell has an excellent reputation Worldwide. She will have doors opened for her during her entire career simply because her degree is from Cornell. Graduates of Ivy League Schools make an average of 20% to 30% more in their salaries each year, even to start. Graduates can demand that based upon the perceived quality of their education. In the long run of a career, an Ivy League educations will pay off. Whatever her career goals, but she has a well respected degree from an excellent program. The hotel they run on campus (Statler) is very nice. http://www.statlerhotel.cornell.edu/

It is best to stay as much out of debt as possible wherever you attend though. The higher earning potential will mean nothing in the face of huge debt.

Hmmm...

I was thinking of going to ERAU for an Aviation MBA after finishing my undergrad in business at my inexpensive in-state school.
OR, should I aim for the higher-tier biz schools??

What do you all think?
