Help Me.....Rhonda

I've been a lurker on this forum for a while but i figured that it's about time that i started adding something. Anyhow, i was trying to create an avatar, but i don't know how to shrink my image down to the acceptable size. I'm sure its a pretty simple thing to do, however i have no clue how to do it. Thanks in advance for the help.

Do you at least have MS Paint or something?

Or, if you promise to contribute a lot to the forums and be a cool guy, I can shrink down your image so it fits well as an avatar.

Wow.....that has got to be a record for the fastest reply ever. Yes i do have Paint, but i thought that i had tried to use that to shrink an image a long time ago and couldn't do it. I guess that it is time to go play with Paint and maybe i can figure this out. Thanks for the warm welcome and the great site.

OK...no joy. Still need help. I went to Paint then to "image" then to "attributes" and tried to change the size there. Well i got a smaller image allright, but it didn't exactly shrink the image. Instead i just ended up cropping the picture. I think that im gonna need "progressive instruction." Wow....two aviation puns in one post....what a dork I am.
 
Ok, I GOT IT! Whoo hooo. Now i just have to pic a cool image to use. Thanks for the offer though Doug. My contribution is in the mail.
 
No, not financial 'contribution', I mean 'contribution' in terms of actively participating in the forums!

Welcome aboard dude! Now a cool picture would have been you catching a 20 foot Mako, now that would have been a hot photo.
