Good point...we have lots of those around here. Mostly yelling over the ICS at me about how I suck :p Seriously though, those guys love them some T-45 ACM

There was one out on the ramp a few weeks back, and I have to admit that I was impressed. Cool mission, not sure how I feel about single engine-ing it for much longer (though obviously it isn't an issue for Navy guys like me), but if I were a Marine stud, I think I'd probably be tempted. They say that it is one of the last "pilot's jets" still around

All joking aside your true opportunities will be on the fixed wing side of the house. I believe things are better pay wise for civilian helo guys but still not on par with FW ops. I flew civilian FW and RW after my initial time in the Army and while I love flying helos back then the money just wasnt there and with a growing family and financial commitments and goals I switched over to pure FW ops ...
