Hey Seth Welcome to the boards.
I've flown Helicopters both in the Military and in Civilian life. While they are alot of fun and challenging to fly I generally recommend against making them a career choice. Were you thinking of learning to fly Helicopters? If you want to do it, there is no better way than through the Military. I did the U.S. Army Warrant Officer Flight School.

I've got almost four thousand hours in them, so yeah, I've pulled a little pitch before.
I did the civilian thing and instructed afterwards.
From what I'm seeing on different sites, there seem to be an awful lot of helicopter jobs out there. Probably not as much money long run as compared to fixed wing, but there appear to be more jobs.
