Hello Everyone,
I have a guy I'm going to be helping to get his fixed-wing commercial, but first let me fill you in on what he has...
Commercial Certificate, Rotorcraft
Private Certificate, Single-engine land, with instrument rating.
I have not looked at his logbook and don't know what any of his totals are, but I wanted to make sure I knew what I was talking about before I meet with him. Please tell me if I have this correct...
Of 250 hours-
100hrs in powered aircraft, of which 50 of his rotorcraft can be credited towards.
100hrs PIC time, of which 50 of his rotorcraft can be credited towards.
50hrs Cross-country, of which 40 of his rotorcraft can be credited towards.
10hrs instrument training, must be in fixed wing.
10hrs complex, must be in fixed wing.
Other misc requirements I'm aware that must be in fixed wing.
Am I missing anything, or am I incorrect on anything here? I'm very new at this and any help would be appreciated. I want to get him done by saving him as much as I possibly can. My plan is to get him proficient on commercial maneuvers in a regular 172N, then move to 172RG when he is close to standards, and knock out the 10 hours complex while preparing for checkride. Thanks.
