Headset question - 737

As a former long term Airbus guy that didn’t care about my hearing, I can’t quite find the right headset for the new seat in the 737. Currently using the ProFlight 2s. They same to have the best balance but the hassle of setup and takedown gets old with all the plane swaps and obviously the ANR isn’t as good as others (seems sufficient enough). Anyone have the Dc Pro X2s on the 737? I tried the DC One X but after not using over the ears for so long they seemed pretty tiring despite having great ANR.

Suck it up and stick it out with the PF2s?

Does it slide much when looking up or down?
Yes it does a little for me, I know some people with a smaller dome complain more about that issue. It’s a price I’m willing to pay for not getting a headache, too many years with the old Bose and DC head clamps before that.

I'm still using Clarity Aloft. No ANR but the noise suppression is pretty darned good if you insert the ear pieces correctly.

I'd try the Bose if they would get rid of the piece that goes over your head.

I’ll second the DC Pro X2. Been using the original Pro X and X2 my entire time in the 737 and love them. The original Pro X actually had slightly better noise canceling and didn’t pop when someone slammed the cockpit door but that’s probably my only gripe with them. The top can wiggle a little but I’ve had that problem with any headset I’ve had and never had them fall off. Being on ear though is more comfortable with my glasses and my skin doesn’t break out like it did with my old A20s around the ear seals.

I had the DC pro x and it was pretty good. My ears got sore by the end of a long day though. I have the Bose A30 now. I have to use the minimum noise canceling setting or I find it to be overwhelming.

I have heard the lightspeeds are pretty good if no one is going to be checking for TSO tags

Seems like schlepping a full size headset case around would get old.

Our standard ship headset is a ProX2 and I like them quite a bit. They work better than you’d think.

flying the 737 gave me a use again for my 1990 DC H10-80 headset, which still works like a champ. Lol

Being only a 737 Jurassic, Classic, and recently NG differences trained guy, is the MAX of such advanced design and new technology, that rubber bands are no longer required for ICS? 😆
