Bill got an SRL for May!!!!
This is his second month in a row actually getting an SRL! Before the April bid month it had been over a year since he'd had a line of any kind, so I'm pretty happy he's gotten a couple line months, and doesn't have to put up with the reserve crap! (At least til June!) Of course, it's working every weekend, with 5am shows, but hey IT'S A LINE!! He was holding really decent lines before 9/11, but with the furloughs & everything ended up back on reserve.
(An SRL is a Supplemental Regular Line, it is not a published bid line, it's a line of time built out of company open time, and pilots who were initially awarded a reserve line can bid these SRLs, and end up with a line instead of sitting reserve.)
