We're thinking summer 09 - that way John will have a little bit of seniority and planning it that far out in advance we can put the wedding wherever his vacation ends up!
John took me up to Brighton (a ski resort here) and proposed at the base of the mountain. Very sweet and romantic speech about needing the person you love most when you are at the bottom of the mountain rather than when you're up at the top, and how you always will come down again, and that's when you need that person the most. Then he got down on one knee and popped the question!
