I wanna go up and go through the VFR corridor over LAX so bad! Are there any special instructions to go through? Do you advise LAX or just shoot through it?

squawk 1201 through the corridor, self-announce position reports and that's it. it was great.

Great pictures. My pictures always turn out like poop since most of them are taken with my iPhone. I always seem to forget my camera before I go flying. I have some of Catalina at sunset that are decent considering they are taken with my phone. I'll try and dig them up and post them later.

I just did it recently on my BFR. Just follow the instructions on the TAC for the Special Flight Rules Area and you'll be fine. It was easier than I thought. Only recommendation is to definitely keep your eyes open.
