Heh. When I worked the ramp at a UAX carrier that also did DCI, every once in a while we'd mistakenly end up with a bunch cookies and offer them to crews. You could always spot the SLC based crews who did more DCI flying by the way they'd usually almost dry heave and tell us no thanks.

Hells yes. On the often light and now discontinued DEN-SDF route, it was pretty common for them to come around with cookies 2 or 3 times. Really set their coach product apart.

Geez, it's almost like the verbal dance I do when I turn down ice cream because I'm lactose-intolerant. I want to say, "Sure! Ok, I'll fart and crap my pants. Gimme some sweet, delicious ice cream! I just want to fit in and not feel weird"

Because Delta is paying for snack and drinks while ExpressJet isn't. That's why they're more liberal with the snacks and drinks.

I think I have a lower tolerance now for sweets. Last time I was in Brussels, I had a waffle from a street vendor with chocolate on top. Couldn't get even a quarter of the way through; too sweet! I've cut back my sugar intake significantly in general, so that's probably why.

Now I'm craving a BRU street kabob. I used to waddle over to "Sultans of Kebap" on the walk back to the Sheraton.

Oh man, there was a kebab place across the street from our hotel there. I'm pretty sure I'd turn into a fat kid if I stayed there too long.
 
Not sure where that is, but I haven't been to BRU in some months. Fun town!
