Most hawker gear ups have had zero hydraulics. Most situations of having aux hydraulics to get flaps down but unable to get gear down have been recurrent discussions of things that could possibly happen but probably won't.

I don't know, I don't fly a Hawker. In the Lear 35 it's not a gravity system.

In the hawker if you don't have main or aux hydraulics you don't have gear. There are a few failure points in the system you could get the flaps down without being able to get the gear down but ive never heard of it happening outside of sim world.
maybe it wasn't hydraulic, but that's the obvious suspect. Most of gear ups in hawkers have been lost main and aux hydraulics.
The last one in Denver a tire came apart as the gear was retracted and took out all the hydraulics. There are a decreasing number of planes that are susceptible to that failure. I can't remember the exact serial numbers, but at some point in production it was modified to prevent that. Most that were made before that have already undergone gear overhauls where they were changed. Some are still out there that are old enough they weren't changed at production, yet young enough they haven't had a gear overhaul yet.

All it takes is a piece of masking tape across the nose gear doors and you won't get the nose wheel. If the doors can't open ( requires hydraulics) the gear can't swing. Once the doors are open the gear will just about free fall into place.
