Hawker Down near AKR

I can only hope, that the only saving grace from this, will be that the company gets slaughtered by the FAA and new regulations for crew rest are further enforced. That's if it was a contributing factor in this case.

Plane was not associated with the flight school at Akron, was it?

Thought someone would have posted this by now. Execuflight 1526

Not unless the school was giving instruction in a Hawker while on a 135 flight out of FXE

Well, I know the school did have a "charter" operation for a while, in addition to doing instruction.

@ComplexHiAv8r do you know where they went down? Just from the pictures/videos available, it looks like they must have been northeast of the baseball fields across Triplett, I know that's your neck of the woods.

It's about 5 miles from my house but they were about 2-2.5 miles from 25 on the RNAV approach.

It's across 91 at the next road. Just before the high school.

Really sad to see. There have been way too many of these accidents lately. Flashback to the Phenom at my home airport that shorted the runway.
